Product Manager - Enterprise API's ( (Hybrid - Flexible Locaton)

The Product Manager for Enterprise API's is responsible for creating and coordinating across the business units Broadridge's external API strategy. He/She is responsible for the product management of developer.broadridge.com.

We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered hybrid, which means you'll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remote.

Job Description:

• Create an external API strategy to drive benefits to our clients.
• Evangelize the use of API's to our product management and technology groups, including education and training programs.
• Inventory existing API's and gaps.
• Create a methodology for considering what API's should be exposed externally.
• Drive towards consistent API standards across the business units.
• Own developer.broadridge.com, working with business unit product owners, technology and marketing to make this a valuable site to service existing clients and generate new business leads.
• Consider revenue opportunities for the external API's along with the product owners in the business units.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; MBA or Technical degree preferred
• Excellent academic background with strong analytical skills
• Senior leader with 10+ years of experience
• Strong technical knowledge of API's standards, Mulesoft, authentication standards
• Strategic mindset with deep understanding of product management methodologies and capabilities
• Strong working knowledge of product management processes, including waterfall and agile
• Experience in the financial services sector especially with technology is a plus
• Demonstrated experience in and passion for product, technology, innovation, and lean start-up principles a big plus; entrepreneurial experience is a plus
• Proven ability to build excellent relationships and effectively negotiate with senior leaders to influence business outcomes
• Comfortable with a work environment often managing multiple initiatives under ambiguity
• Experience with product and technology integration and optimization
• Passionate about the potential strategic direction for Broadridge as an industry leader

• Experience working in the context of a large, complex, global organization where working across boundaries, developing strong interpersonal relationships, and leading through influence are keys to success
