Product Manager - EZLynx

Job Description
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently searching for a Product Manager t o join our Product Management department, the intersection between business, technology, and our insurance-based end users. The Product Manager will create the vision and roadmap of our Applied software product offerings. In this role, you will work on these products throughout all stages of its lifecycle (conception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities), playing a proactive part in product planning and design while ensuring the product is differentiated from our competitors. Through the performance of new business analysis and market research, the Product Manager will help to define offerings, determine pricing, and drive sales results. Ensures appropriate support processes are in place, tracks and corrects product performance/support problems, and drive sales results.
What You'll Do

• Build the product roadmap, including new target market and features, and design the go-to-market strategy and product value proposition that support the plan for short and long-term company goals
• Deploy and use best practices to measure, understand and optimize the success of the products you own. Based on product vision and strategy, design new features and propose improvements to existing features to maximize impact
• Provide leadership and makes high-level decisions on strategy and direction of product for cross-functional groups across company including: analysts, engineers, sales, marketing, accounting, training, and support
• Responsible for full product life cycle, including concept, requirements definition, design, release, communication, promotion, maintenance, and evolution of large-scale systems involving multiple work streams, releases, and deployments
• Identify, prioritize, and address problems and opportunities for multiple product roadmaps to organize timely feature releases and minimize release delays
• Plan for the complexity of leading across multiple teams to deliver internet-scale applications. Uncover critical dependencies and risks to product launch
• Determine product and feature mix by utilizing market research data; reviewing timelines and sales costs; anticipating volume

What You'll Need to Succeed
We're looking for someone who:

• Can work remotely or from an Applied Systems office
• Ability to travel (post COVID-19)

Your experience should include some or all the following:

• 3+ years' experience delivering highly successful and innovative software products
• Proven success in taking products and ideas from inception to maturity
• Track record of understanding customers both intuitively and objectively measured
• Experience delivering best-in-class SaaS products
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the areas of business administration, finance, or marketing

Additionally, you may have:

• Experience in Business Accounting
• CPA or Accounting experience
• Chartered Property Casualty Insurance experience
• Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Insurance industry exposure
