SUMMARY

The Product Manager is an intermediate professional,responsible for creating product related output to be used for technical marketing and communication (white papers, blog posts, product release updates, sales training, etc.). The individualhas (or must learn) the ability to operate the products and create sufficient simulation outputs (images and animations). The individual has the competency to prepare nearly complete work that is subject to approval by senior colleagues.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create content for product marketing and sales support activities for the Fluids product line
  • Function as a specialist/expert in high quality technical content creation
  • Work closely with Development teams to inform roadmaps that improve the post-processing capabilities of the products
  • Engage ACE (ANSYS Customer Excellence) teams regularly to coordinate and assist in technical content creation
  • Lead efforts to produce technical white papers, application notes, and webinars as part of the GTM strategy
  • Engage and deliver technical content for any Pre-Sales situations as appropriate
  • Provide quality assurance testing and feedback on new post-processing features and design flows as necessary
  • Contribute to the wider product management organization to assist other activities and operations as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or closely related field with 2 years of combined experience in any of the following: engineering, computer aided engineering (CAE) simulations, pre-sales support, sales, or customer engagement, or master's degree with no experience
  • Detailed experience operating commercial CAE tools
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to communicate business value of technical innovations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field, 5+ years of combined experience in engineering, CAE simulations, or technical sales
  • Experienced in using Ansys CFD products and/or competitive products in the market
  • Prior experience in a technical content creation or product management role
