About the role:
You'll drive the design and development of our products and services for our Candidate Engagement platform. You'll work cross-functionally with our Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams and with customers to ensure the product meets their needs.
This will be our first product hire, and we'll consider candidates ranging from a few years of PM experience, up to Head of Product candidates.
Ideally you are
- Customer focused with deep empathy and understanding of customer needs and pain points
- Goal-oriented and able to articulate trackable and impactful metrics
- Data-oriented and curious about how customers use your products
- Highly collaborative and able to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
- Able to prioritize ruthlessly and drive excellence in planning and execution
Responsibilities:
- Owning the Grayscale product roadmap
- Understand how Grayscale is used by recruiters and hiring managers to define features that continue to delight users and drive increased user engagement
- Be the voice of the customer in the room by effectively representing their issues, opportunities and needs and partnering with engineering to design effective solutions
- Develop, maintain and manage a backlog of stories
- Analyze data to optimize performance and high-potential product areas
- Partner with cross-functional agile teams from concept through design, build, release, and impact analysis using dual track agile
Experience:
- 3 - 5 years Product Management experience in SaaS or complex product development
- Experience in agile software delivery, short release cycles and iterative delivery of a commercially available product
- Willing to take an experimental approach to designing and testing new product features
- Experience in UI/UX testing and validation
- An entrepreneurial mind set to thrive with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment
- Strong presentation and listening skills; comfortable getting in front of customers to gather input and validate ideas
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, a preference for making data driven decisions
- Ability to remain disciplined and avoid feature creep, while remaining flexible and re-assessing priorities based on new data
