Product Manager - hybrid remote

We are seeking a dedicated Product Manager who will lead a product team focused on a Customer Support platform. This platform is essential for call center agents by providing them with the tools they need to excel in their roles. This role will involve working closely with two engineering teams, each with a distinct focus, to ensure the platform's reliability, security, and developer experience.
One of the teams you will work is responsible for ensuring the platform's security, resilience, and reliability. You'll be dealing with cybersecurity vulnerabilities, incident management on agent screens, and addressing any technical issues that may arise. While there is some UI work involved, the primary focus is on maintaining the health and management of the platform.
You will also support the Developer Experience team, which is focused on enhancing the experience of developers using the platform. This includes providing resources, documentation, design system guidance, testing tools, and ensuring that developers have the necessary access permissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize and execute on the platform's development roadmap.
- Ensure the platform's security, reliability, and resilience, with a strong focus on preventing and addressing cybersecurity vulnerabilities and incidents.
- Improve the developer experience by providing resources, documentation, and tools to facilitate feature development.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including developers, designers, and call center agents, to understand their needs and requirements.
- Oversee the triaging and resolution of technical issues on the agent servicing platform.
- Maintain and enhance the platform's health and management capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Manager, with a preference for candidates with an engineering background.
- Experience working with large teams and complex systems, preferably in the fintech or startup industry or a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud providers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding that the role focuses on serving developers and improving the developer experience, rather than building UI.
This role has a hybrid work schedule with in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Please be colocated in either the Washington D.C., Richmond, VA, or New York City areas.
$140,000 - $170,000 a year with full benefit package
