The Product Manager II is a key leader within Product Development, working with dedicated product engineering teams to ensure that our products deliver against our customers' unmet needs. This position will focus on the benefits administration needs of employers and their employees. They are responsible for collecting and analyzing a variety of data to determine what needs to be built and in what priority. They contribute to and execute product vision and strategy, which includes conducting feature research, running discovery sessions, writing user stories and owning the product backlog. They should have a talent for conveying a clear and compelling narrative and an enthusiasm for creating vital functionality, while striving to innovate and expand our market-leading product suite. This position requires commitment to exceptional results, a strong desire for continuous improvement and the ability to build strong relationships with a multi-discipline team.

- Collect and analyze a variety of data (e.g., industry, competitive, customer and stakeholder feedback) to identify key themes to determine customer value proposition and validate assumptions regarding product features
- Define the customer problems & desired outcomes that feed into product & feature discovery
- Autonomously own product & feature discovery, execution and delivery end-to-end including go to market activities
- Evangelize customer problems and expected outcomes to Product leadership & stakeholders to gain buy in (and to senior leaders with Group Product Manager guidance)
- Participate in all agile ceremonies with product engineering team
- Own & maintain 12 month strategic product roadmap, product backlogs and product development requests (PDRs), and provide impact analysis of client issues to determine priority
- Regularly monitor utilization of released functionality, sharing data and trends with Group Product Manager to identify areas of opportunity and recommend ideas
- Proactively seek customer problems to solve for and new market opportunities to pursue
- 3+ years of experience in product management. Bonus if this experience is in Benefits or Human Capital Management.
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Data driven, with excellent problem framing and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; you will need to develop strong relationships with software engineers, software test engineers, operations, sales, marketing and other internal key partners
- Superior attention to detail with excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
- Must be customer focused and outcome driven
- Must be data and insights driven
- Must be focused and able to think strategically and creatively
This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position in Colorado is $116,000 - $176,913; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
