Product Managers at Seismic drive product vision and are responsible for the success of the product through all phases of the development process. Starting with the initial concept and nurturing it all the way through research & discovery, production, deployment, and maintenance; the Product Manager ensures that our new features and capabilities solve our customers’ biggest problems. Successful candidates have three main traits - product sense, leadership, and the ability to get things done.Â
Peer-to-peer enablement is an exciting new focus at Seismic to scale collaboration and empower team members to learn from one other. As the Product Manager for Channels, you will own this experience end-to-end and lead the launch of this new product.Â
Collaborating closely with design, you will constantly raise the bar for user experience, and deliver solutions that delight our customers. You will also work closely with engineering to ensure that our solution is robust, flexible and scalable for the needs of our customers.Â
What you will do:Â
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers’ & prospects’ problems and deliver solutions that drive growth and customer retention & delightÂ
- Build a business case for investment by articulating initiative recommendations and trade-offs to leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersÂ
- Translate product strategy into roadmaps that are informed by input from customers, cross-functional stakeholders, market and competitive research.Â
- Develop specifications, negotiate & define scopes, and partner with our design & engineering teams to deliver new capabilities to our customersÂ
- Define and analyze key metrics that inform decision making and measure success of product initiativesÂ
- Support the go-to-market process and collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to achieve launch readiness and drive adoptionÂ

What you bring to the team:Â
- 3-4 years of proven software Product Management experienceÂ
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Systems, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experienceÂ
- Product taste - you have a demonstrated passion for user experience and have delivered software that delights usersÂ
- Experience working on scaling or mature B2B / consumer software (and familiarity with SaaS platforms) - you understand what it takes build & maintain systems that work at scaleÂ
- Technical acumen – you can have credible conversations with engineer stakeholders about technical tradeoffs, technologies, scalability, etc.Â
-  Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skillsÂ
- Strong operational & organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple projects while following through on plansÂ
- Proven analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making and feature prioritizationÂ
- Experience working in a fast-paced enterprise technology environmentÂ
- Empathetic researcher - seeks to truly understand by asking open-ended questions and avoiding confirmation biasÂ
- Open - seeks help, shares before ready, and defaults to sharing rather than hidingÂ
- Driver - can’t help themselves from taking the lead and filling the gapsÂ

Seismic’s annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant’s location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range. ​​
This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic’s incentive plans in addition to base salary. The actual incentive amount will vary and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.
Seismic's salary range for this position
$90,400—$155,900 USD
