Job Overview:

As an IC3 Product Manager II at Coursera you will drive product innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance user experience and team efficiency. You will manage product strategies prioritize features and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with our broader product vision. Your focus will be on user-centric design data-driven decisions and the smooth coordination of new feature rollouts.

You will play a key role in fostering a collaborative environment advocating for continuous improvement and ensuring our product offerings remain competitive. This position is crucial for driving the success and evolution of Coursera’s products within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead product innovation initiatives to improve user experience and team efficiency.Own the product backlog prioritizing features to align with user needs and business objectives.

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive product strategies and requirements for key features.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering design and marketing teams to drive seamless product execution.

  • Conduct user research and analyze feedback to advocate for user-centric design and inform decision-making.

  • Create and oversee go-to-market plans for new features to ensure successful rollouts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with product management including developing and prioritizing product backlogs.

  • Demonstrated history of collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g. engineering design marketing).Background in conducting user research and making data-driven product decisions.

  • Proficiency in developing and communicating product strategies and requirements.

  • Experience coordinating go-to-market plans and feature rollouts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of product management frameworks like RICE.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools and A/B testing.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic database concepts.

  • Experience using market analysis tools such as Crunchbase.

  • Strong advocacy for user-centric design and experience working with UX designers.Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
