Job Description
The Product Manager II, MarTech will act as the owner of varying marketing technology products. They will have a strong understanding of the data products across marketing use cases and value chains. They will be responsible for understanding business requirements, managing changes, removing roadblocks, and communicating broadly with multiple functional groups and stakeholders, and should have a deep understanding of the product(s) they oversee.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
MarTech & Ad Tech Product Ownership
- Lead requirements gathering sessions, proactively drawing out requirements from stakeholders and identifying business value and ROI of AdTech systems and capabilities
- Consolidate and optimize ad tech product usage across lines of business to unlock efficiency and scalability of marketing strategies
- Collaborate with product, engineering and data science stakeholders to align on AdTech and data best practices (both internally and externally)
- Maintain and audit product/process documentation and communicate new standards and updates on a regular basis
- Be the champion for products you manage
Strategic Initiatives / Planning and Research
- Lead on various strategic team-wide initiatives
- Lead portfolio-wide rollouts of new products/initiatives
- Recommend process improvements around existing workflows
- Participate in marketing technology roadmap planning based on stakeholder needs and priorities
- Research products and vendors, and conduct vendor assessments based on stakeholder requirements and business needs
Relationship Management
- Train and educate internal 2U stakeholders on available marketing technology products, and ensure users understand the purpose of each product, and when and how to use them effectively
- Mentor junior-level team members
- Support Analysts in their functions
Continuous Learning / Innovative Thinking
- Review product use cases to identify opportunities for improvement
- Perform independent analysis to inform and improve marketing technology products
- Build/oversee custom technical solutions
- Ongoing research and analysis of overall marketing technology landscape
Implementation
- Oversee QA and UAT on product features and rollouts
- Provide direction and support for product issues and questions
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree or professional certificate a plus
- 3-5+ years ad tech experience
- 3-5+ years analytics experience
- Subject matter expertise with AdTech including the Google marketing platform (GA360/GA4, GTM, Big Query, SA360/DV360 etc.)
- Subject matter expertise with analytics platforms (Tableau, Looker, Data Studio)
- Very comfortable learning and discussing technical concepts
- Highly effective communication and presentation skills; ability to distill and communicate complex ideas and topics in understandable ways to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to conceptualize current requirements against future plans
- Experience leading cross-functional teams with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of accessibility best practices
- High-performance mindset and a passion for driving excellence
Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools a plus (Optimizely, Amplitude, etc.)
- Knowledge of JavaScript and other programming languages preferred

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is$101,000.00 with potential bonus and equity eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate's assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
