About Your Role:
As a Product Manager for Privacy & Trust, you will be responsible for leading the development of privacy-focused products, features and platform integrations that promote Privacy by Design principles for more than 20 iconic brands that reach over 100 million users each month. You will work closely with business GMs, legal experts and senior management to develop a robust strategy and roadmap you will then execute in partnership with a cross-disciplinary scrum team.
About Your Contributions:
  • Congratulate the scrum team on the release of an awesome new product or feature.
  • Review your product strategy and roadmap with GMs and senior management team members.
  • Walk an engineer and a designer through product requirements.
  • Participate in the evaluation of privacy and identity vendors to decide who we will partner with in the most optimal way for our brands and end users.
  • Coordinate with fellow product managers and technology leaders on the sequence of a cross-team project.
  • Create documentation that enables technical and non-technical stakeholders to better understand and utilize our privacy platforms, features and standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on product management-day-to-day product ownership and ideation. Previous experience working in digital media preferred.
  • You're capable of developing a big-picture product strategy for meeting user needs, selling it, and then working out the details to get the plan over the finish line.
  • You're excellent at communicating and collaborating with a wide range of teams and stakeholders to build great products.
  • You possess an innate desire to collect, synthesize, and analyze data to inform your strategy.
  • You're fluent in Agile principles and methodology.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of current privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA and privacy best practices such as "Privacy by Design."
  • Experience working with privacy technologies such as Consent Management Platforms (CMPs), Data Subject Rights (DSAR) tools, and other Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs).
  • Certifications related to privacy such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM or a willingness to pursue certifications.
  • General knowledge of web accessibility standards such as color contrast, mouse-only navigation features, alt text and aria labels.

Pay Range
Salary: $91,000 - $130,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
