About our Team
Our team is responsible for developing innovative digital solutions used by colleges and universities across the US and Canada. Our content, analytics, and applications improve learning outcomes and practice readiness for future health professionals. This role will be responsible for advancing our industry-changing adaptive learning products.
About the Role
This role falls under Elsevier's Nursing Health Education division. We build online digital learning and assessment solutions for nursing students globally. You will be part of our Learning and Adaptive team and directly responsible for our learning courseware product. This position reports to the VP of Product, Learning and Adaptive.
Location is flexible and can be remote however Philadelphia or Boston/Cambridge are preferred.

Responsibilities
- Having experience leading a specific product family with responsibility for budgets and profitability.
- Having recent experience as a product manager or business analyst working on a team developing and launching digital, web-based product. Ability to work in an modern agile product environment.
- Having a track record of scale and commercial success. A passion for education and/or background in educational technology is plus.
- Representing your product in customer-facing environment and engaging in technical discussions with development teams and maintain understanding of new technologies. Able to translate customer pain/needs into requirements.
- Having experience collaborating with demonstrated track record working with stakeholders across the company, particularly sales, marketing, content, and technology
- Defining product KPIs/OKRs and staying focused in making data-driven product decisions
- Having knowledge and appreciation for UX best practices and testing methodologies (e.g., A/B testing).
- Having ability to learn, think creatively, and problem solve (recognizing new information, assimilating it, and applying it to new ends).
- Utilizing interpersonal skills including social awareness and judgment, persuasion and negotiation, relationship building, collaboration and team building skills.
Requirements
- Experience in product development and instructional design in the health education space.
- Experience with higher education and education/learning technology including emerging education technology.
- Experience working with subject matter experts in health education, publishers, course or curriculum designers, and media producers
- Have project management skills and be people oriented.
- Be a problem solver with an innovative orientation.
- Have 2-4 years of experience in software product management
