- PTO is provided to team members as a lump sum allowance, not an accrual. PTO is prorated based on your start date (see table below) on a quarterly basis (with tenure-based increases), 8.75 days of sick leave, 11 federal holidays, their birthday (8 hours), up to 15 days for jury duty, and up to 3 days (24 hours) of bereavement leave per eligible instance.

Compensation
Our Compensation System is designed to reward remarkable work, grow your impact and support the whole “you” over the course of your career.
We believe in paying people fairly, so we've established a compensation model aimed to ensure everyone at Fearless — regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, age, nationality, or negotiation skills — is given equal pay for equal work. Our approach to compensation is intended to ensure our total package serves all of your needs and includes base pay, medical and other benefits, performance rewards, 401k matching, plus a few perks (tech and wellness reimbursement programs)! Our salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location and provide team members salary growth within a salary grade over time. Team members automatically progress within a salary range through annual increases (given to reward service at Fearless) or merit increases (given to reward and individual's demonstrated performance and growth within the position). Fearless team members are also eligible for discretionary bonuses based on company performance.
The salary ranges for this position based on location are listed below. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified as a part of our annual salary range review.

What you’ll be doing

The Product Manager III is a strategic role that is responsible for leading and managing the discovery phase, identifying and understanding root problems, as well as partnering with our client stakeholders to uncover and understand business and end user needs. They will also be responsible for stakeholder alignment, establishing an MVP, strategic planning along with defining goals and success metrics.The PdM III establishes and communicates the long-term product vision, strategy and roadmap, as well as maintains a firm understanding and handle of the overall project scope and objectives.  The Product Manager III consults and advises the client Product Owner on product management best practices and strategies.  Our PdM III’s are focused on continuous iteration and improvement and delivering data-driven value to the business and end users. The Product Manager III may also be asked to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities and Contributions Organizational and Leadership RoleÂ
- Serves as the organizational strategic leader and thought partner
- Identifies, documents, and communicates project risks and mitigation plans
- Consistently makes organizational process improvement suggestions and recommendations and serves as a mentor to junior product managers
Functional RoleÂ
- Directs, defines and executes long-term product vision, strategy and roadmap
- Manages the discovery phase to ensure proper problem identification and validation
- Effectively aligns, manages and prioritizes stakeholder requirements and needs
- Creates the product roadmap to help clients formulate, prioritize, and execute short and long-term plans
- Leads as a consultant to client product owners in multiple areas of product management
- Defines OKR’s (objectives and key results) as well as KPI’s (key performance indicators)
- Partners with client stakeholders to develop user adoption, analytics, and success metrics strategies to inform and support product decisionsÂ
- Creates value propositions and partners with stakeholders to establish Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
- Assists clients in developing and implementing product communication, education, marketing and launch plans
- Consults, advises and contributes as a product management subject matter expert for client product owners
- Facilitates competitive analysis of similar products to understand market requirementsÂ
- Grows the teams’ and clients’ understanding of the end users needs by assisting and conducting interviews and focus groups
- Conducts business analysis research to identify opportunities for improvement in product operation and develops new processes to improve efficiency
Essential Skills, Experience, or Competencies  Must-Have Skills
- 5 - 10 years of product management experience
- Experience working in multiple agile environments
- Ability to build relationships and influence key decision makers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences
- Ability to work well on cross-functional teams
- Experience guiding development and use of data-centric productsÂ
- Ability to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure that data product meets client, user, and business objectives
- Ability to translate data capabilities and requirements into business value for team and stakeholdersÂ
- Experience with building data visualization toolsÂ
- Experience with Amazon RedShift, Tableau, and JiraÂ
- Experience on teams where products have been created with using Python
Highly Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience consulting in product management
- Product management experience in local, state or federal government contracting and/or consulting
- Experience coaching and/or training internal and external audiences in product management best practices
- Experience guiding organizations through change management
- Experience with GitHub and/or GitLab
- Experience with Amazon CloudWatch
