1 - First Shift

Are you the type of person who has strong critical thinking skills and executes with excellence on projects? In this role, you will be able to gather product and market research, interact with our suppliers and customers, and create product and process improvements to help us fill gaps in the market with the right product. We’re looking for someone who has attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for Vermeer products and customers.

What You’ll Do

1. Assist in organizing and attending meetings, focus groups, tradeshows to represent Vermeer’s product line. Visit current and potential customers to partake in Voice of Customer and dealer relations activities.

2. Collect, assess, develop, and present product data to management and peers to influence product line.

3. Develop reports with the sales manager & commodity manager to reconcile consumable product data.

4. Prepare sales program support documents and training to support product sales.

5. Assist in integrating consumable products into an online order entry platform.

6. Assist in managing the entire product life cycle including, market evaluation using market research, and development of market growth strategies for product lines based on competitive market evaluation and analysis.

What We’re Looking For

- Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Business Management, or other relevant degrees.

- Previous internship is a plus.

- Knowledge of market research and assessment, product strategy, business planning, project planning for all assigned products, sales planning and execution.

- Previous experience collecting and analyzing data

Travel

-No travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

HYBRID: Some of a team member’s day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
