Product Manager , Member Viability
Your mission is to improve the health of our member community, one of Zipcar's top strategic priorities ! You will develop new user-facing ways to encourage and reward members who respect the community rules and educate and disincentivize (and in some cases fine, suspend, or ban) the members who don't. You'll also develop internal tools and capabilities to determine any given member's "viability score" and to manage our community of hundreds of thousands of members at scale. A member base with fewer bad apples and more community-conscious enthusiasts will go a long way towards maximizing the likelihood that members start their trip on time and in a vehicle that's clean, fueled up, and damage-free!

W hat you'll do :
- O wn the vision for internal and member-facing behavior scorecards, gamification of the Zipcar experience, and internal tools to manage member viability at scale
- Collaborate with stakeholders in product, engineering, UX, analytics, marketing, member support, fleet operations, and trust & safety to form a strategic roadmap of new features, enhancements, and other investments that will make progress toward that vision.
- Develop member communication and policy standards for community rules education, warnings, fees/penalties, suspensions, and terminations
- Become the Zipcar member viability product expert; conduct research, design experiments, and prototype concepts to drive validation of problems and hypotheses
- Measure and manage to success metrics with frequent communication at the leadership level.

What drives success for this role :
- 2+ years of experience in product management at a software company
- Experience partnering with engineering teams to prioritize backlogs and writing clear user stories that articulate desired customer functionality
- Skills in apply ing data to formulate hypothes e s and drive testing
- Strong product sense and member empathy, with an ability to envision opportunities that address business and member needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate learnings , analyses, and opportunities clearly to your team and stakeholders
- Curious , positive attitude, and passionate about solving member problems
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, marketing or rela
