Full Time - Product Manager - San Diego, CA - Summer 2024

Your role:

• The primary focus for the Downstream Product Manager is ownership of an assigned product's position and success in the marketplace.
• This ownership includes product launch planning and execution, including but not limited to market segmentation, targeting, product positioning, key messaging, pricing, profitability and campaign development.
• In addition, the Downstream Product Manager drives strategies for their particular product through lifecycle maintenance, and campaigns, through collaboration with the cross-functional product team ensuring VOC is heard.
• This position must be able to communicate with all areas of the company and will interact on a regular basis with QA/RA, Global Marketing, Sales, Customers and Senior Leadership.

• You have recently completed or are an upcoming MBA graduate
• Medical device experience is a plus; previous internship experience included
• Bring your excellent verbal, written, analytical and presentation abilities
• Must have a good understanding of the medical environment, being comfortable in the cardiac catheter lab to effectively respond to market concerns and provide technical support for products
• Able to convert product/customer feedback into valuable insights that can help drive the development of new marketing programs
• Excellent advocacy and persuasive skills, both inter- and intra-departmentally
• Must be able to work independently with minimal direction
• A healthy disdain for the status quo, and a willingness to question existing practices to identify better alternatives
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible enough to change priorities with short notice when necessary
• You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
