Position Overview
As a self-starter, and collaborative team player, you will participate in frequent customer engagements with our sales, services or support teams and have the responsibility of evangelizing market needs collected with internal stakeholders. The PM works collaboratively with program management and key stakeholders to guide the product release launch process by working across the organization to ensure their features can be deployed, trained, and supported.
This role has significant relationships and responsibilities outside the local team, including working with Product Management, Customers, Business Owners, and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As a member of the product management and strategy team, the PM is responsible for the following:
- Manage the mobile application product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
- Understand market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape in the healthcare mobile communication software industry.
- Engage with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to understand their needs, collect feedback, and ensure alignment on product strategy and roadmap.
- Define product vision and roadmap for the mobile application, ensuring full integration with the suite of communication products.
- Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize product features and development efforts based on the product roadmap and vision.
- Support Product Owners in managing the product backlog and planning sprints.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, PSG, and support to ensure a successful product launch and adoption. Support the go-to-market process and related document creation.
- Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding of the product among internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify, and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
- Brief and train internal departments on the aspects they will need in order to do their jobs (e.g.) Sales Engineering, Professional Services, and Support) on new and/or enhanced product features.
- Support the go-to-market process and related document creation.
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of product management experience
- Knowledge and experience in Healthcare IT or Telecommunications
- High level of product knowledge in critical communications, IT and competitive products and other voice communications technologies
- Strong knowledge of mobile application trends, design principles, and development processes
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
