Advanced Flow Systems (AFS) includes the Liquid Controls and Corken branded products that make fluid transfer safe, accurate, and efficient. Liquid Controls primarily provide metering, fluid handling and data ecosystem for truck-based custody transfer of highly valuable fuels. They have product solutions to support other downstream oil & gas custody transfer applications as well. Corken offers a wide variety of industrial compression and pumping solutions for the process, energy, and transport industries. Applications include autogas filling stations, bulk plant pumps, tank car unloading, delivery truck, and transport. AFS is headquartered in Oklahoma City, OK and sales/service office in Chicago, IL and an employee base of approximately 220+.

This product manager quarterbacks cross-functional teams to support new product development and to optimize in-life product performance. They lead by example modeling and evangelizing, the values of collaboration, shared risk, trust, respect, and an entrepreneurial bias for action across the team.

This product manager applies market data and customer feedback to drive new product definition, development, and launch. They are experts in:

  • Conducting voice of customer research including New Product Blue Printing
  • Collaborating with Customers, Marketing, Sales to define feature and product marketing requirements
  • Project managing the Alpha, Beta, and Release testing for products with customers

This product manager reviews 80:20 analysis quarterly throughout the product life cycle and understands actions available to the team to drive focus on the critical few customers and products in a market. Partnering with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Operations, and Marketing they make in-life adjustments to the product line, products, and related features to drive both market share and financial results.

This product manager uses product placement as an asset to drive market share across different channels. They are an expert at:

  • Market Definition
  • Go-to-Market Execution (OEM, Distribution, End-User)
  • Customer Engagement

This product manager manages value to capture price across the manufacturer to end-user waterfall. She or he uses 80:20 analysis to identify price equity opportunities between large and small customers and between high volume and low volume products. They are an expert builder of:

  • Economic Values Estimates
  • Price Schedules
  • Discount and Promotion Programs

This product manages partners with Marketing and Sales to promote the value of new and existing products. They are experts at developing:

  • Sales Playbooks
  • Product Training
  • MarCom Campaign Content

Qualifications:

  • B.S. Marketing, B.S. Engineering, or MBA
  • 7 or more years' experience on cross-functional teams building Business-to-Business Industrial Products
  • Experience in the Industries of Liquid Propane Gas or Refined Fuels
  • Experience with product lines including compressors, pumps, or related software preferred

The estimated minimum compensation for this position is $93,000 plus short-term bonuses.
