Product Manager - Security

IBM has established a hybrid cloud that accelerates our customers’ business transformation via IBM Cloud IBM Consulting Services and IBM Ecosystem capabilities. We are building a dynamic Global Systems Integrator (GSI) Partner ecosystem to accelerate digital transformation value for our customers. These ecosystem partners provide a diverse set of services to enable clients to adopt utilize and gain differentiated value from IBM Cloud technologies. These services include Cloud Migration Digital & Business Transformation Managed Services ranging from entire IT portfolios to point-solutions Technology Implementation Consulting and a wide variety of supporting Cloud Services. Partnerships leveraging Systems Integrators is a multi-billion-dollar ecosystem opportunity.

Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Product Managers deliver business results by bringing high-quality products to market by defining the strategy and execution plans while continuously innovating to achieve market leadership. Product Managers are experts at market and business analysis product definition product roadmap pricing ecosystem channel strategy strategic planning competitive analysis innovation and leading cross-functional teams. They manage the product lifecycle from inception through growth maturity and end of life stages and define partnership and ecosystem strategy for product execution. Product Managers maximize internal and external relationships interfacing with design product marketing ecosystem partners analysts engineering sales and services teams to deliver a successful product with defined routes to market. They are experts in the field and are recognized as a credible voice in the market.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the software manufacturing industry and proven track record in delivering highly technical products product collateral and broad team enablement.
• Minimum of 1 years experience of strong leadership skills to create and drive ideas and projects to completion across a highly matrixed organization (intra and inter division).
• Minimum 1 years experience or equivalent education in Business and Management to analyze the business market demand cost and revenue perform price analysis and produce competitive landscape reports.
• Minimum of 1 years experience in relationship management with clients or business partners.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Understanding of cyber security domain in reference to solutions and implementation processes. Specialization in Data/Information Science would be preferred.
• Experience with hybrid multicloud deployments including Kubernettes IaaS PaaS and SaaS. Proficiency in developing modernized applications.
• Experience with enterprise requirements and common security and compliance policies for large enterprises especially in key industries like banking and financial Insurance Government Telco Retail and Healthcare .
• Understanding of the OM process Agile Scrum teams requirements gathering and prioritizing successful leadership through the release process.
• Required Education: BS in Engineering or Computer Science or IT Operations or equivalent BS
• Preferred Education: MS in Engineering or Computer Science or IT Operations or MBA
