Product Manager, Siemens

The Role

Tesla's manufacturing and factory operations are growing and evolving rapidly around the world to ensure Tesla's growth and achieve the transition to a more sustainable future. The equipment design and manufacturing engineering teams are constantly innovating and solving complex engineering problems.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Product Manager for Siemens Manufacturing Software suite. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of products within the manufacturing process, ensuring seamless integration of Siemens technologies into Tesla's equipment design and manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both Tesla's and Siemens' product lines, manufacturing processes, and industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Tesla's CAD/PLM teams to understand current processes and design optimized methodologies using Siemens CAD/PLM software.
• Leverage Siemens CAD/PLM software to streamline design processes, manage product data, and enhance collaboration among engineering teams.
• Ensure seamless integration of Siemens CAD/PLM solutions into Tesla's design and engineering workflows, addressing any interoperability challenges.
• Develop training materials and documentation for Tesla engineers and designers on the use of Siemens CAD/PLM software and optimized methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in Siemens CAD/PLM solutions to continually refine and enhance design processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and IT, to implement and standardize CAD/PLM methodologies.
• Ensure that implemented methodologies meet quality standards and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in Mechanical Engineering, Computer-Aided Design, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a CAD/PLM Methodologist or a similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the automotive industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Siemens manufacturing technologies and Siemens Digital Industries Software incl. Teamcenter, NX, Line Builder, Process Simulate.
• Familiarity with CAD/PLM software, such as Siemens NX or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize design processes and data management workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Proven ability to drive change and implement process improvements in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
