THE TEAM


The Product Management team at Zuora are in the frontlines, intimately working with Zuora customers and users to identify product opportunities, functional requirements and business processes. We translate this data into product strategy, roadmap and detailed requirements that are hyper focused on business impact and customer value. Product Managers evangelize with internal and external stakeholders for buy-in and partner with engineering to bring their product to life. Additionally, Product Managers will ensure success of their product by working with their Product Marketing counterparts to drive pricing strategy, product positioning, promotional planning, product launches and product adoption strategies.


YOUR MISSION


As a Technical Product Manager on the Platform Product Management team, your focus will be to provide Zuora customers with the most delightful and consistent user experiences and to provide Zuora partners with the ability to build custom experiences on Zuora’s platform. By evangelizing and being the subject matter expert, you will ensure that all new applications being built at Zuora take advantage of your shared UI components, thereby giving customers a unified and extensible platform experience.


What You’ll Achieve

  • Lead product delivery for large scale UI frameworks, design system, and no-code/low-code custom UI tools.
  • Design global UI experiences that are localized, translated, and made accessible for all Zuora users.
  • Help Zuora customer’s unlock value with their Zuora investment by allowing customers to build their own tailored experiences that are secured to a role in the organization.
  • Empower other product and engineering teams inside of Zuora to easily integrate their products with your shared UI frameworks and components.
  • Drive a consistent and reliable track record of shipping products that deliver measurable results for quality, adoption, customer value, and profitability across a well-planned blend of small, medium, and large product releases.
  • Establish and lead cross functional partnerships with support teams, infrastructure teams, customer success organizations, marketing, and sales to drive organizational alignment around requirements and design.
  • Evangelize your product and vision across our company and industry and obsess over delivering the value customers expect from our products and services.
  • Foster and contribute to a positive and dynamic product team culture that is ambitious, creative, and always learning and improving how we build product.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in enterprise software with a focus on UI development, UX design, UI frameworks, UI customization, localization, translation, and accessibility.
  • Customer engagement experience with user experience research, usability, and design.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, backend querying, and metadata management.
  • Self-starter with bias toward action, shipping frequently, and hands-on willingness to do whatever it takes from an execution perspective.
  • Deep customer empathy and ability to articulate customer problems clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and influence product, engineering, sales, and services teams distributed around the world (US, EMEA, APAC).
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills with ability to influence executive-level discussions as well as functional / technical deep dives.
