Product Manager, UX/UI

We at CDS Global are building out our next generation platform - Resin - for our entire product line. Our Product Managers provide the vision and direction for our offerings, driving product line success by engaging with the clients we work with in the publishing and media industry and understanding where the industry is headed. They set the vision & strategy of the products they own and drive the delivery and execution across the organization.

If you are UI/UX Product Manager ready to take on the responsibility to help us define the User Experience across our entire product line, we want to talk to you.

In this role you will work horizontally across all the Product Managers and Designers to implement a best-in-class User Experience for all our products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS• Help define the overall strategy for UI/UX, the roadmap, and business plan to achieve a best-in-class User Experience.• Actively prioritize product backlog and coordinate planning with Product Managers and Designers • Drive UI/UX best practices across the organization, including accessibility and usability.• Work with clients and partners to define and create story boards and user journey maps.• Work with clients and partners to understand and address usability issues.• Help unify the user experience of currently fragmented properties and products.• Participate in UX demos and sign off UX deliverables to ensure high quality.• Foster a collaborative relationship between business product managers and the UI/UX team, ensure productive engagements between the two teams.• Work with the technical product managers to ensure that UX deliverables are well defined and understood in the overall project scope.• Work with the Technical Program Managers PMO to help develop processes to ensure orderly, predictable execution of deliverables.• Advocate UX research; assist with the planning and execution of usability studies.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Performs additional duties as required or requested.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS• Bachelor's Degree or Higher in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors and Ergonomics, Computer Science (particularly with a focus on UI engineering),• Five or more years of product management experience working on UX or UI features on a professional software team.• In depth understanding of wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma, AdobeXD, Sketch, Balsamic.• Understanding of storyboarding tools like Miro.• Understanding of the Agile Framework.• Experience in Platform product management, defining and carrying out a strategic vision to build and scale large platforms and building products that can be leveraged by a variety of business clients.• Ability to work directly with Architects and Engineers to develop use cases, write user stories and evaluate short-term vs. long-term trade-offs.• Exceptional decision-making skills. Given limited resources, how you prioritize across needs.• Leverage data to make informed decisions that can be clearly articulated.• Comfortable being the point person for an entire product area and being accountable for continually evolving and representing your defined strategies and initiatives.• Track record of delivering results with cross-functional teams.• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter who can get things across the finish line.• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
