Brooks is looking for a Product Manager, Vacuum Systems as we accelerate our growth journey. This role is critical for leading product strategy, product development, pricing, and delivery of customer-led innovative products and solutions. Brooks Vacuum Systems enable our customers to bring their process technology advantage to market more quickly and with the confidence and reliability of Brooks Automation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Create and maintain a product roadmap based on customer-led innovation and the strength of Brooks Engineering.
• Work with Brooks sales / account teams, engineering, and customers to make design decisions for customer solutions.
• Set pricing for products and solutions.
• Build a strategic analysis of attractive market segments and growth plan to penetrate attractive markets with innovative products.
• Build a multi-year strategic plan for products and assigned market segments.
• Create the business case for new product development efforts, including market, customers, competitive landscape, product vision, revenue, profit and investment required. Maintain ownership of products throughout the product lifecycle.
• Act as the "Voice of the Customer" internally, articulating and prioritizing customers needs.
• Effectively collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, service and sales to develop new products, deliver solutions to customers, and address challenges which may be either urgent, important, or both.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline. MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in either Product Management OR related Engineering experience as either an Application Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer. This is a great opportunity for Engineers with direct industry experience looking to transition into a Product Management role.
• An understanding of Semiconductor Manufacturing process technologies, how Semiconductor Automation technology adds value today, as well as how Automation technology can innovate to add value in the future.
• The ability to articulate product value proposition, develop product requirements, and guide development teams to develop and deliver solutions for customers.
• The ability to create and maintain a competitive landscape analysis.
• Strong communication skills, including presentations, 1-on-1, small and large group settings, as well as written communication via email and PowerPoint.
• Analytical skills, including analysis of data in Microsoft Excel.
