Product Manager, Vibrant

Since 2014, the mission-driven team at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) has helped fuel the tremendous growth of the Stellar blockchain network, an open-source platform that operates at high scale today. Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us continue to build out Vibrant, our consumer mobile wallet. Vibrant started out organically as a crypto wallet app that provides inflation protection for Argentina. Vibrant also launched exciting partnerships with UNHCR, the International Rescue Committee, and others to deliver life-changing cash assistance to refugees displaced by the war in Ukraine ($2.2M delivered to date, learn more). 

Vibrant is now expanding deeper in the Americas to create a new global remittance network that’s powered by the Stellar’s blockchain network and our global on/off ramp partners. In addition to global remittance, Vibrant is also looking to work closely with more local ecosystem partners to create the next web 3.0 super app experience such as allowing users to use crypto and stablecoin assets to pay bills, book travel, hail a cab, etc… 

As the second product manager on the Vibrant product team, you will work closely with the Vibrant GM and Product Lead to drive the roadmap and strategy of the Vibrant app, and work cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing and customer service teams to identify, experiment and iterate on new features. 

Vibrant has grown 12x in the past year, and we’re looking to grow Vibrant to millions of users. This is an exciting opportunity to build an innovative mobile crypto wallet on top of a well-established layer one blockchain.

In this role, you will: 

• Act as a mission-oriented, hands-on voice of the customer 
• Contribute to and communicate the product vision alongside the product lead
• Define and prioritize the product backlog and work with relevant stakeholders (design, engineering, legal marketing, customer success) to bring new features to fruition
• Build incredible processes to deliver products that satisfy the needs of customers

Qualifications: 

• 3+ years of experience in consumer app development
• Experience living or working in Latin America and speak Spanish fluently
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, data analytics and conflict resolution skills.
• Obsessed with building delightful products, placing great focus on understanding customer challenges and building out new UI and features to create more value for end users
• A bias towards action, a high sense of urgency, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves, wear multiple hats and get things done.
• Experience working with 3rd parties to build amazing technology

Bonus Points if you have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or previous experience in an engineering or analytical role highly preferred
• Experience in payments and fintech is a plus
• Experience bringing a product from 0 to 1
• Experience living or working in Argentina

• Grow Vibrant’s “Pay Anyone” feature
• Expand Vibrant to other LatAm countries with other on/off-ramps

We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $65,000-$80,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants. The benefits below do not apply to international contractors.
