About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Product Manager/Scrum Master. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the product development lifecycle and ensuring the successful implementation of Agile methodologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality products on time. Additionally, you will serve as the Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring the team follows Agile best practices.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements based on customer needs
  • Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed, prioritized, and aligned with the product vision
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely and successful delivery of product features
  • Serve as the Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and ensuring the team follows Agile principles and best practices
  • Remove any obstacles or impediments that may hinder the team's progress and escalate issues when necessary
  • Monitor and track project progress, ensuring that deliverables are completed on time and within budget
  • Continuously gather feedback from customers and stakeholders to improve the product and drive innovation
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to product management and Agile methodologies

What we are looking for:

  • 7+ years’ experience as a Product Manager and Scrum Master in an Agile software development environment
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience in implementing Agile practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in gathering and prioritizing product requirements, creating user stories, and managing the product backlog
  • Knowledge of s/w development lifecycle and experience working with development teams
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence) and Agile project management methodologies
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Ability to travel periodically

Highly preferred:

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM) and Product Owner certification (CSPO)

Clearance Requirements:

  • Requires an Active Top Secret US Security Clearance

Position Type and Location:

  • San Antonio, TX (Hybrid) One to Two days a week on customer site and remote the rest of the days
