Job Description
This person is responsible for coordinating all business aspects of a product portfolio, including equipment, diamond tools and related accessories, for the North America market in alignment with global Husqvarna strategies. This position is critical for owning all aspects of the product segment market intelligence and competitive landscape.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Marketing
- Collection, analysis and communication of market intelligence through internet, sales, customers, D&B reports, dodge reports and annual competitor reports
- Create a consistency in reporting by taking ownership of maintaining, collecting and communicating product competitive landscape to applicable individuals within Sales, Marketing and Product Marketing in Sweden
- Proposes product portfolio to appropriate channels based on market analysis
- Product lifecycle activities including finding product and lobbying for R&D. Once product is launched taking responsibility for pricing, forecasting, coordinating with Marketing & Sales on new product launches, applicable upgrades and replacing or phase out activities.
- Set competitive NA market pricing of products, to meet sales and profitability goals
- Overseeing/reviewing forecast and inventories
- Assist or leads initiative to create sales promotions driven by business objectives
- Meeting project deadlines driven by PCP and other initiatives
- Coordinates with MarCom all product information for marketing materials
- Acts as an HCP NA liaison with HCP global teams regarding product portfolio, including product development, certifications, testing, legal, and lifecycle management
Product Support/Training
- Liaison between NA sales company and global product mangers (GPM)
- Creates and Coordinates training materials on existing & new products
- Assures training materials and activities are consistent and aligned with Husqvarna standard
- Communicate Product updates and phase in-phase out activities
- Represent Husqvarna at selected industry associations/committees /trade shows
Administration
- Responsible for keeping Workday, Brainshark or other administrative assignments current
- Responsible expenses (including vehicle, demo equipment, travel, etc.)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- BS Business or Marketing preferred
- 5 years previous experience working with product life cycle management and market intelligence experience
- Frequent travel (25-50%) including International
