Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Account Manager drives, secures, coordinates, and manages marketing resources in support of business solutions and software product growth. This person contributes to developing, analyzing and communicating business strategy with internal IP team and external VARs contacts. Develops and executes the marketing plan in support of the firm's short- and long-term business goals, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drives growth strategy and activity for all software product marketing.
    • Collaborate with business solutions team to identify and prioritize opportunities for lead gen and enterprise level campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the Wipfli Intellectual Property product team to develop and implement growth strategies.
    • Build strong relationships with value-added resellers (VARs), such as Microsoft, Sage Intacct, Oracle NetSuite (and more) to drive growth. Identify collaborative programs and positioning to fuel lead generation.
  • Understands appropriate channels to promote and market products.
  • Translates business strategies and market insights into results-focused marketing programs by proactively proposing ideas, concepts and programs that contribute to the firm's strategic objectives and generate a quantifiable ROI.
  • Collaborates with the marketing operations team to meet content, creative, demand generation and market intelligence needs.
  • Manages marketing budget that aligns with firm, industry, service line and/or market priorities.
  • Proactively communicates and coordinates with clients to manage timeline expectations and results.
  • Coordinates with business development team members to align marketing efforts with business development plans and goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration
  • 7+ years' experience in a comparable role
  • A minimum of 7 years working in product marketing, and/or B2B strategy.
  • Value-added reseller experience with Microsoft, Sage Intacct or Oracle NetSuite.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the marketing mix and how to apply applicable strategies to an existing opportunity.
  • Must possess initiative, resourcefulness, be accurate, persistent, and dependable.
  • Must be able to establish a high level of credibility with his/her clients.
  • Uses positive influence to manage peers and/or individuals higher in rank and demonstrates the ability to foster strong relationships.
  • Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and coordinate multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Maintains professionalism and a "can-do-attitude" in the execution of all project-related assignments and tasks.
  • Evokes creative and innovative thinking from fellow team members, while helping them understand the core strategies and goals of a marketing program.
  • Shares lessons learned and best practices with internal clients and the greater marketing organization.
  • Is an excellent communicator and proactively supports and aligns internal resources toward execution.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technology product experience, specifically with value added resellers such as Microsoft, Sage Intacct, Oracle NetSuite or others.
  • Existing relationships or experience working with software vendors.
  • Corporate experience serving internal stakeholders.
  • Professional services background and experience.

Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate's unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $80,000 to $134,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.
