Product Marketing Analyst

As a Product Marketing Analyst (PMA) you will support the business by assisting in development of go-to-market strategies including market assessments and product launch plans, competitive positioning, pricing, packaging, and value propositions for the product(s) in the subvertical market(s) we serve. These strategies align product, sales, and marketing, and ensure new solutions meet defined objectives. The PMA will analyze and share insights of the market, buyer, competitor, and technology trends while assisting in software product launches and strategies for growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a great collaborator, is comfortable engaging business leaders, action driven, and outcomes focused. Travel will enable client interactions, market research through industry trade shows & events, and collaboration across Tyler Teams (up to 20% travel).

Responsibilities
- Assist with developing go-to-market strategies and planning including market sizing, segmentation, addressable market analysis, business case, buyer personas, competitive analysis, differentiators.
- Support the launch of new products including coordinating the launch plan, helping to define product positioning, compelling messages, packaging, pricing.
- Assist other product marketers with identifying and developing revenue growth opportunities, their scope, risks, or financial justifications.
- Identify & track metrics to determine the effectiveness of product marketing activities.
- Support the sales enablement function by helping customer facing teams to understand new products and functionality to promote sales, adoption, and strong references.
- Assist with competitive intelligence activities to develop SWOT analysis, sales tools, positioning, and product recommendations.
- Assist with conducting win/loss reviews including post-deal analysis and interviews with prospects and new customers, summarizing findings, and providing recommendations.
- Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of their divisions' software, major trends, needs, and competitors.
- Travel to meet customers, internal teams, and attend industry events as needed (up to 20% travel).
- A passion for product marketing and the desire to become an expert with technical products and solutions
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, finance, or other related discipline. MBA a plus.
- 2+ years' product marketing or similar experience in the software market; cloud-based, SaaS experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills: experience in strategic market analysis, competitive intelligence, and/or business model analysis is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Experience with Power BI and MS Dynamics CRM is a plus.
- Experience in the government industry is a plus.
