Job Description

Position Overview
The Product Marketing Assistant position is assigned to corporate merchandising tasks and is responsible for managing web store sales, margins, and inventory goals. The position is accountable for assigned web store categories, production processes, and item maintenance and site operations knowledge. Coordinate with other departments for internet strategy and customer experience. Require to report directly to the manager to maintain overall web store consistency.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with Product Analyst, team members on product management and development activities
• Assist in new product launching such as communicating between departments, follow up with product launch, and work closely with team on meeting campaign goal.
• Assist in listing maintenance, ensuring listings maintain its healthy status. Address product related inquiries and questions from customers in accurate and timely manner.
• Responsible for the keyword metric of assigned marketplaces, SEO analysis and competition.
• Partner with sales analysts and product managers to make the best use of testing opportunities, in order to increase sales and get customers’ attention.
• Coordinate with marketing team to drive site traffic through promotions, emails, campaigns and other external marketing efforts and to ensure channel plans to drive customer engagement.
• Coordinate with buyers to execute optimized purchases, including, maintaining stock level, forecasting, and suggesting incoming stock based on sales history.
• Continuously review the competitive landscape to understand and identify emerging online trends and opportunities; propose new ways to improve and evolve the customer site experience.

Qualifications

Requirements and Skills

• Ability and desire to work at both strategic and tactical levels
• Fast leaner, able to pick up with web related skills, able to work with a data entry, content management system to update pages
• Ability to produce on-time quality work in a deadline-driven environment while balancing multiple priorities
• Skilled in researching, reviewing and communicating results in non-technical terms to a variety of audiences
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma and above
• Associates, Bachelor Degree or 6 months to 1 year experience in a similar position or with similar responsibilities are also welcome to apply.
• Amazon, eBay, Walmart or other similar marketplace experience preferred.
