Job Description

ADP is seeking a Director, Product Marketing and Communications, Professional Services. The successful candidate will be an energetic, results oriented professional that helps our team drive awareness and sales of our Professional Services offerings within our mid-market segment.
This position is part of the Major Accounts (MAS) Professional Services team, the business responsible for delivering value-add services for ADP's mid-market clients on its market-leading Workforce Now Human Capital Management (HCM) platform. Key offerings include HCM Advisory Services, Integration Services, and Implementation Support. The role will directly report to the leader of MAS Professional Services, and will have a strong relationship to the overall MAS Marketing team, which is responsible for driving the overall awareness and sales of our complete HCM product suite within the mid-market segment.

The Director of Product Marketing and Communications will position our HCM Professional Services in a differentiated way to the market and prospects and play a key role in helping the business achieve its ambitions for rapid growth. Additionally, they will clearly communicate our offerings to internal stakeholders across Sales and Operations, in order to drive awareness and adoption. The role will leverage our market insights and competitive intelligence to work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services organizations. Responsibilities include collaborating on go-to-market approaches, developing product messaging, creating marketing and sales collateral for external and internal audiences, supporting multi-channel campaigns, supporting client-facing deliverables, and measuring success and impact. Reporting into leader of MAS Professional Services, this person plays a key role in being an expert on our products and services and communicating it to our varied audiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide an outside in view of the Human Capital Management (HCM) Professional Services to ADP.
  • Research and incorporate competitive awareness/differentiation, size opportunities for growth, and drive go-to-market strategies
  • Create and implement product marketing strategies which elevate ADP's position in the market
  • Distinctly define and articulate our value proposition to external and internal audiences
  • Build marketing plans, launch plans, communications, marketing and sales collateral, and website
  • Develop client testimonials and case studies
  • Support the sales growth plan including new sales and existing client upsell and cross-sell
  • Support client-facing deliverables
  • Maintain solid measurement and metrics on product sales and performance.
  • Identify key industry trends. Keep up to date on all regulatory issues and other industry initiatives that impact ADP's business.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in education and work experience.
  • Minimum of 6 - 8 years of work experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in technology and Software as a Service (SaaS).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
  • MBA degree highly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in Human Capital Management (HCM)
  • Experience working with large, global businesses.
  • Strong leadership skills to influence across organizational lines and executive presence as well as outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written communication, presentation and process facilitation skills with the ability to present his/her views in a compelling manner.
  • Highly collaborative team player with the knowledge, intellect and temperament to work effectively in a fast-paced, energetic and complex environment.
  • A high degree of personal initiative, results orientation and integrity are essential.
  • Highly evolved analytical skills to ensure clear analysis and sound data based decision-making.
  • Exceptional business acumen with a deep understanding of client and prospects most critical business issues and the ability to translate ADP's product and service capabilities into real business value.
  • Thrives in an environment of creativity, idea generation and excels in driving new efforts from ideation to flawless execution and meaningful measurements.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated experience in building breakthrough product positioning and go to market strategies which drive marketing execution plans.
