The Product Marketing Director is responsible for developing, directing, and driving all the marketing strategy and activity for our holistic product and service offering. This includes defining our product value proposition, audience profiles, branding, positioning, naming, visualization, and messaging to help drive sales of product to our target customer audiences.

Responsibilities:
• Establish an internal Product Marketing function at the intersection of Product, Customer, Brand and Sales, including building and executing a comprehensive product marketing strategy and framework
• Define our product & service value proposition, audiences, messaging, competitive differentiation
• Develops framework and principles for product categorization, branding, naming, visualization, and messaging
• Collaborate with Design Manager to define how to visually communicate our product offering
• Develop GTM strategies for product launches and iterations/updates
• Lead and drive development of product marketing collateral and tools
• Collaborate with wider marketing team to create product-focused content (whitepapers, webinars, presentations, videos, marketing materials, etc.) as well as marketing strategies to promote products / solutions

Success Factors:
• Established product marketing framework and strategy with marketing materials, touch points and tools to enable our Account, Business Development and Marketing teams
• Standing up an internal product marketing function
• Enabling Account Management and Business Development teams in effectively executing and delivering on sales plans and targets
• Efficient and effective collaboration with key stakeholders across Product, Brand, Marketing and Customer groups

Qualifications & Experience:
• Successfully building and executing a holistic and multi-faceted product marketing strategy
• Experience in technology and/or QSR sector and exposure to digital hardware and software preferred
• 8-10 years of applicable experience in product marketing, marketing, or product management
• Creative, innovative, and strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop strategies for achieving business goals, to translate business strategies into clear objectives and tactics, and to proactively anticipate future trends or problems, their potential impact, and how to address them with relevant strategies
• Experience building and leading a new team: strategy development, stakeholder management, workflow and collaboration establishment, capacity and capability planning and leadership/management

• Strong collaborator and facilitator; able to drive collaboration, progress, and outcomes with a cross-functional group (in person and remote)
• Flexibility in working style to accommodate global time zones and various collaboration styles
• Self-motivated, organized, strategic and detailed thinker that learns and adapts with speed
• Innate drive/hunger to build from the ground up, take risks, think outside the box and work quickly and efficiently
Ability to consider and understand various inputs to create digestible, intentional, and engaging information
