The Product Marketing Director will evangelize PulsePoint's products by developing impactful product positioning, sales materials and marketing campaigns that win customers attention and drive adoption.
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking and operational excellence:
- You will build, lead, manage, and grow the Product Marketing function/team at PulsePoint
- You will be an ambassador of PulsePoint's products and able to promote the story of our products internally and externally
- You are up to date on what's happening in the health, data, and media industries and can tie trends back to our products and business
- You will define product positioning, new product launch planning, and all product communications
- You are an expert in translating product capabilities into use cases, benefits, and business outcomes. This includes partnering with sales and product teams to identify customer pain-points, potential objections and developing marketing campaigns and materials that address both while describing our offerings. You've done this before and can bring your wins and learnings to the table to start on day one.

What you'll be doing:
- Lead the adoption of PulsePoint products and solutions with compelling positioning and clearly defined selling points;
- Define and own product positioning and messaging that differentiates PulsePoint's products per target audiences
- Plan the launches of new products/offerings including internal/external communications, training, and promotional events
- Create product content such as product videos, website copy, training materials and blog posts
- Become the expert on our customers, market segments and competition
- Provide consistent thought leadership on market trends, competitive dynamics and overall company positioning
- Translate complex concepts into language that customers will understand
- Leverage tools and technology to automate internal/external product communications
- Mentor/manage 1 Product Marketing Manager and help us hire more team members and grow the Product Marketing team in the future
Requirements
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B/SaaS product marketing
- 5+ years of health and/or data experience is a must
- Knowledge of programmatic technology, media or advertising industry preferred
- 5+ years proven experience launching successful products in highly competitive technology markets
- T shaped marketer with strengths in product lead growth, positioning and product marketing; Secondary strengths in content marketing preferred
- Has built successful product marketing campaigns from the ground up and demonstrated ability to lead a small team to achieve outsized results
- Action-oriented with a history of getting things done in scrappy, entrepreneurial environments
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely organized and detail oriented with ability to go from 1,000 feet as a leader to 10 feet as an executor as needed.
- Self-reflective and self-motivated personality who can operate independently; Driven by intuition but able to gut check and course-correct
