Job Description
We’re seeking an experienced Product Marketer to help shape and propel Prove’s product messaging, positioning, content, sales enablement and Go to Market efforts.
The Product Marketing Director will lead significant product/s within our B2B product portfolio and help drive sales growth -- across verticals and geographies. Your focus will be on leading innovative market segmentation, product positioning, messaging, buyer persona profiles, content creation, and understanding the detailed reasons behind wins and losses. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer needs and pain points and finding/communicating innovative solutions for the broader market.
You will play a critical role as both strategist and storyteller, creating and delivering effective messaging and value propositions at the right time and place to the right audience.
What You Are Accountable For:
- Partner with Sales, Product, & Marketing to support effective marketing strategies and communication plans for launching new products and features.Â
- Lead sales and marketing alignment and ensure client-facing teams have appropriate resources, collateral, case studies, and competitive intelligence
- Lead thought leadership around product innovation, product positioning, messaging, customer segmentation, analyst relations, and general GTM
- Represent/Support Prove at key industry events, conferences, webinars
- Promoting, maintaining, and enhancing our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership
- Exhibiting a strong passion for learning our products and markets through in-house and external training
What We Require:
- 5-7+ years of combined experience in Product Marketing and/or product management at a B2B software company (preferably SaaS)Â
- Must be a self-starting, roll-up-your-sleeves do-er and with ability to work in a fast-paced environment, learn new technologies, and navigate ambiguity.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Design, and Partnerships teams
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills (written, verbal, visual), across internal and external audiences
- Experience in a high-growth tech startup growing from $100m to $500m in ARR is a plus
- Experience leading/managing with remote/distributed teams
- Prior experience driving sales enablement and scaling SaaS products globally and across verticals
- Prior experience within the Identity, Authentication, or Risk/Fraud domain is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; MBA a plus
