Overview:

NASM is currently hiring Product Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for generating market awareness, demand and revenue for new and existing products by developing marketing plans and effectively communicating the value proposition of our products to current and potential customers. From partnering with the product managers on the market need and business case, to understanding the competitive landscape, differentiators & positioning, the product marketing manager will craft the product's story through impactful messaging strategy, campaigns, naming and positioning. This person will work closely with our product, sales leadership and operations teams to ensure a seamless delivery of products to our customers across all communication platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • In collaboration with members of our marketing, sales and products team, ensure the adoption of our products and attainment of revenue goals for existing and new product innovations.
  • Create effective go-to-market launch plans for new products and propose marketing campaigns and cross-promotional strategy for other key existing core products across various stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Drive creation of messaging and keywords to effectively communicate to target audiences.
  • Regularly collaborate on a cross-functional core team to align on and propose plans, providing updates on progress and metrics to leadership; identify and drive creation of key required deliverables and hit related project milestones to enable sales team to be successful.
  • Educate both internal and external stakeholders on our products' features, benefits, positioning and differentiators to create and deliver meaningful training and tools for sales and service.
  • Serve as the marketing liaison with Product, Sales, Operations and Digital Marketing teams on launch planning and deliverables specific to marketing.
  • Work closely with external partners, as necessary, on messaging strategies, go to market tactics, naming/trademark and design needs.
  • Serve as a brand evangelist for our products through thought leadership ideation, public relations outreach, blogging, social media post creation, highlighting product value, subject matter experts, research insights, or other supporting content.
  • Develop an intimate understanding of our brand message and tone to accurately capture our persona in all communications.
  • Work closely with BU leaders, marketing teammates, and other departments to create effective marketing and communications strategies that articulate our product's core benefits properly and consistently, cross-promoting with other similar products whenever possible in digital and traditional marketing tactics.
  • Propose plan for generating product awareness at events and tradeshows; Attend relevant industry events and tradeshows, as needed, to evangelize on behalf of our products alongside our sales, marketing and product teams pre, during and post launch of products.
  • Measure and optimize the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field required.
  • 5+ years of marketing, product or communications experience.
  • Candidate should possess a mix of business, product launch, marketing creativity, operational experience, project management and communication/collaboration skills.
  • Pragmatic Marketing training and experience a plus.


Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to create and drive effective messaging and marketing plans across various stages of product lifecycle to generate awareness and demand to reach revenue goals.
  • Excellent ability to write and apply copy in a variety of forms; some outside support available to supplement.
  • Articulate communicator who can present to various levels of management, co-workers and peers as well as train on key messaging and value proposition.
  • Outcomes-driven with ability to effectively manage multiple product plans and priorities in a fast-paced growth-oriented environment.
  • Ability to adapt to change, fast timelines and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to lead/co-lead and communicate cross-functionally across operations, sales, product and marketing.
  • This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring to life the product, constantly interacting with teammates and functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions for complex issues.
  • Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills.
