Product Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a passionate Product Marketing Manager for the Appian suite of complete automation capabilities, including robotic process automation (RPA), intelligent document processing (IDP), AI, Smart Services, Integrations, and Decision Rules; with a focus on RPA.You’ll work hands-on with Appian Product Management and Engineering to fully understand our product roadmap, develop strong and differentiating market positioning for quarterly and off-cycle launches, and then leverage that positioning to create demand-generating and sales-enabling content. This is the perfect opportunity for a creative and strategic thinking professional with the ability to distill technical information into messaging that conveys real business value. 

To be successful in this role, you need:

• Enthusiasm about developing creative, memorable, and high-impact videos, blogs, decks, ebooks, and more.

• The ability to effectively communicate both technical and business issues simply.

• To work in a highly collaborative environment spanning Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and other stakeholder groups. 

• Experience developing content for automation technologies including but not limited to RPA, IDP, AI, Machine Learning, integrations, low-code, etc.

Basic qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or otherwise demonstrated aptitude for technology.

• 5+ years of related work experience with an automation tool desired.
