Job Description
As the Product Marketing Manager, you will own the storytelling, messaging, and positioning for our solution. You will drive awareness and adoption of our unique and differentiated products. You will bring meaningful insights to the cross-functional team to help inform the product roadmap, marketing campaigns, and sales plays.
You have strong verbal and written communication skills and have a knack for translating complex technical concepts into compelling stories that resonate with our target personas. You’ve developed, executed, and measured end-to-end product launches, and enjoy working cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Planning and Execution
- Create compelling storytelling and positioning to help our customers understand the value we deliver
- Own launch plans of new products and features, facilitating cross-functional efforts to increase awareness, demand, adoption, and usage.
- Collaborate with the product team on planning to ensure a strategic, value-driven vision as well as deliver all needed materials for key feature releases
- Create meaningful collateral and enablement materials that help facilitate conversations, wins, and increase usage of our platform
Competitive Intelligence
- Analyze competitive messaging and ensure our messaging is differentiated and distinct in the market
- Update battlecards for top competitors as needed
- Provide tailored recommendations from Win/Loss reports for product, sales, and marketing teams
- Support teams with displacement plays and campaigns with competitive know-how
Content Creation and Demos
- Ensure demo assets and guides are continuously updated and tell a compelling story
- Help contribute to and/or create effective marketing content such as blogs, data sheets, infographics, web content, video scripts etc.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Product Marketing experience in B2B SaaS
- or equivalent in computer science or Marketing or related fields
- Strong written and oral communication skills. Samples of work will be requested and presentation skills will be tested with a live presentation opportunity
- Masterful story-telling abilities
- Detail oriented, analytic and data driven
- Be a successful self-starter - you are resourceful & resilient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can run with minimal guidance, taking true ownership of your projects
- A love of learning – you can learn about a new market segment in days, understand new technologies in hours, and crave to know about what comes next.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, and to listen carefully to the needs and experiences of others
