Product Marketing Manager
Job Description
As the Product Marketing Manager for Wowza, you'll partner closely with our marketing, sales and product teams and you'll collaborate with our talented team of subject matter experts in the video industry to help Wowza generate product growth, adoption and awareness.
You're an ideal candidate if you're a customer-driven Product Marketing Manager with experience marketing B2B SaaS platforms to developers in a product-led growth (PLG) model. You've got a passion for the product marketing discipline, you're a strategic thinker and you are confident in owning a product and driving for results. Wowza is a data-driven company, and you'll be a great fit if you demonstrate a passion for achieving targets. This role will have a large and direct impact on Wowza's ability to gain customer loyalty, and you'll find a true sense of pride in the role by being a major factor in Wowza's ability to leverage customer enthusiasm for the product to help expand through referrals and growth.

What You'll Do
Own the development of product messaging, including positioning, segmentation, development of ideal customer profiles,
- Communicate the differentiated capabilities of our platform to our customers and developer community using effective language and visual aids
- Own a product revenue growth target and develop high-impact go-to-market plans to accelerate pipeline and revenue growth in partnership with product, sales, and marketing stakeholders
- Perform voice-of-customer research for the development of ideal customer profiles
- Research key market segments and apply best practices to accelerate the PLG flywheel effect and enhance the customer journey from trial to customer to growth and retention
- Be a product SME and advocate and deliver high-impact sales enablement programs, including well-positioned collateral, competitor analysis and key talking points
- Collaborate and support the demand generation team to deliver integrated marketing campaigns that engage prospects and accelerates and improves the customer lifecycle journey
- Partner with the product team closely for effective product launches
- Monitor industry trends and collaborate cross-functionally on thought leadership
- Create or lead effective product webinars, videos, podcasts and speaking events as needed both internally and externally to analysts, media, customers, prospects and partners
- Develop customer case studies that articulate ROI and business drivers by working closely with developers, customers and the sales team
About You
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, technical field, or equivalent work experience. MBA a plus.
- Demonstrated, metrics-driven success as a product marketer for a B2B SaaS company in a product-led growth (PLG) environment.
- Experience marketing to developers
- Talented storyteller who crafts compelling narratives that engage audiences and move them through each stage of the PLG journey
- Strong operator with proven skills in project management and prioritization
- Comfortable being accountable for growing product-line revenue
- Competitive, strategic thinker with ability to identify differentiating factors
- Collaborator and able to drive alignment cross-functionally to execute goals
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence to pick up and lead new projects
- Video technology experience is a plus.
Benefits
Salary: $110,000-$150,000
- Bonus Eligible
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of our salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on a range of factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees.
