Position Overview

ObservePoint is looking for a Product Marketing leader who gets excited about creating and owning a new market category and educating the world on how ObservePoint can help solve their web governance needs. Reporting to the EVP of Marketing, you will be the lead for all of ObservePoint's product marketing efforts. You'll need to be proficient in proven product marketing frameworks and building and executing the strategy to establish ObservePoint as the global leader in Web Governance. You'll be collaborating closely with product, sales, and marketing leaders and frequently working with and presenting to the Executive Team. We want someone who's excited to work hard, build, grow, is open to feedback, and who's ready to help ObservePoint tackle our next phase of growth.

Product Marketing Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the product, buying audiences, target markets and buying cycles.
  • Create positioning and messaging for target personas and industries that demonstrates an understanding of their key business problems and pain points through well-articulated value propositions.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and create external tools and internal training that differentiate our products and solutions in the market
  • Establish company and product positioning in the market.
  • Work closely with the Product leadership to align on product roadmaps and release plans and deliver product training and collateral.
  • Own the planning and execution of the product marketing roadmap.
  • Conduct customer research and feed learnings into marketing messaging and strategies.
  • Work closely with Product and Success teams to improve customer adoption.
  • Be familiar with PLG principles and contribute toward the establishment and execution of ObservePoint's PLG strategy.
  • Manage vendors and contractors.
  • Manage departmental budget and ROI.

Other Content Responsibilities

  • Own the company voice and ensure voice integrity in all content.
  • Establish and execute a plan for content marketing and manage all team resources.
  • Project manage execution of all content.
  • In partnership with demand gen, strategizes and executes content and campaign strategies centered around go to market strategy and customer buying needs.
  • Potentially own the full content marketing strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA in Marketing, Business, or a related field with previous work experience.
  • 3+ years of direct and relevant experience in product marketing for B2B SaaS companies
  • Good understanding of data analytics and marketing pipelines
  • Excellent writer and editor and exceptional product positioning, messaging, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong SaaS product marketer with experience in funnel conversion optimization.
  • Well versed in Jobs To Be Done.
  • Work across teams and roles extremely well.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to execute on marketing initiatives, including aligning and getting buy-in from stakeholders across the organization (including marketing, service, product, and sales).
  • Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs and sales enablement to drive awareness and demand generation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Persistently optimistic.
