Job Description

NCQA is looking for a Marketing Manager to lead its growing marketing team and help advance digital solutions that help improve health care. This role will drive Marketing initiatives for key digital solutions and reporting products and in key market segments. This person is the marketing lead on the digital product team and responsible for marketing strategy for the Health IT and other key segments. In this role you will be responsible for identifying customer insights and contributing to the product roadmap, as well as developing messaging and the go-to-market strategy for products. This role must be able to understand and synthesize market trends and apply that knowledge to drive product and promotion decisions that support growth.

The Marketing Manager works in an environment with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate needs to excel at project management (balancing multiple projects at once and managing detailed timelines), understand and align marketing with customer needs and must be able to work as an integral cross functional team member. Healthcare and B2B marketing experience is required. Experience marketing SAAS products is preferred.

  • Work with product teams to provide customer insights and marketing strategy that support product development and product launches.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for product launches.
  • Develop messaging, collateral and supporting materials for designated products.
  • Write emails, collateral, and other promotions.
  • Assist in market research and analyzing market data to make decisions about product development and marketing strategy.
  • Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying opportunities and issues.
  • Interact and maintain relationships with customers to help maintain knowledge and identify market opportunities.
  • Attend events and conferences to promote NCQA products and programs.
  • Work with sales and account marketing teams to determine best strategy and messaging for selling products into key markets.
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute plans.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are in compliance with brand standards.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or a combination of education and experience which demonstrates the necessary requirements of this position).
  • 7+ years marketing experience
  • Previous product marketing and go-to-market experience.
  • Experience presenting to executive-level teams.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively.
  • This position may require some travel.
  • Familiarity with financial planning and strategy.
