Product Marketing Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a thoughtful and passionate Product Marketing Manager to join our team. You will work directly with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to tell the story of New Visions and help establish and grow the systems we offer to solve the most complex problems in urban K-12 education.

In this role, you will join the Marketing & Communications team to help evangelize data-driven marketing best practices across the organization and communicate the important work that New Visions is doing to multiple stakeholders and audiences.

What You’ll Do
- Become an expert in New Visions’ products, key verticals, and user types
- Strategize prospective user acquisition, engagement and retention campaigns
- Generate language and marketing materials (blog posts, videos, decks) around value proposition and uniqueness of products
- Use analytics tools to identify user segmentations, develop and execute targeted outreach strategies
- Develop pricing and subscription strategies for products and services
- Implement marketing strategies to increase user awareness and engagement, and ideate new and creative ways to deepen the products’ relationship with its users
- Collaborate with MarComm team on product social media strategies and engagement
- Set clear, measurable product marketing goals and track progress against them - making continuous recommendations for how we can improve impact.
- Build and operationalize the way we deliver product releases to our users
- Collaborate with members of the Portal team, the Curriculum & Instruction team, and the MarComm team to ensure messaging, brand, and marketing consistency
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience in developing product marketing strategies for web applications and subscription-type packages, preferably in the education space
- Ability to quickly learn new products and understand immediate and long-term goals
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Multi-channel B2B and B2B2C marketing experience with a thorough understanding of acquisition, engagement, retention, and analytics
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze data, prepare and interpret reports and communicate actionable results, findings and recommendations.
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment, rallying different teams around shared goals
- Experience building and managing email campaigns using marketing platforms
- Ability to communicate technical products in easy-to-understand formats for a variety of different audiences
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting multiple product pricing and business models, including contract and subscription-based products
- Experience crafting positioning and messaging for mission-driven organizations
- Experience in media pitching and media relations
- Knowledge of NYC public school system and educator pain points and needs

Salary Information
While the majority of new hires’ starting salaries shall be expected to be placed in the first half of the range(s) to allow space to grow in the job, for those who already have significant relevant experience at that level of the job, placement at the higher end of the range(s) is possible.
Pay Range
$89,836—$160,986 USD
