Product Marketing Manager - Managed Detection & Response (MDR) & Services

Are you ready to lead a flagship cybersecurity tool's messaging? BlackBerry is turning the MDR market on its head and seeking a product marketing manager to join our Product Marketing team. You will lead the evangelism in a highly competitive market as we accelerate our presence in the MDR market with a strong solution and services package that you will drive to success.

This highly visible and impactful position requires someone who is motivated, passionate, and thrives in the fast-paced culture of a dynamic and evolving company. You are highly collaborative and work best in a strong teaming environment. In this role, you will work with customers, sales, product, marketing, and other stakeholders to develop compelling product positioning that clearly articulates the unique value that BlackBerry delivers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Drive Compelling Messaging: Stay in lock step with product, engineering, sales, customers, and marketing teams to develop and own an evolving endpoint solution ecosystem. You will support and evolve cross-functional workflows between product marketing and the rest of BlackBerry's cybersecurity team to rapidly produce new, relevant and innovative messaging.
• Amplify and Evangelize Product and Feature Launches: You will help plan, communicate, and launch features and messaging designed to drive sales momentum and demand.
  • Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates our MDR and services offerings in a noisy, competitive market
  • Understand and develop associated use cases for MDR from an end user perspective.
• Be the Catalyst for Change: You will drive an emerging product through a major shift in positioning and messaging. Align closely with product managers and technical teams to package and deliver BlackBerry's MDR and services solutions to the public in a new way focused on value frameworks and highly targeted pitches.
  • Create presentations, white papers, videos, blogs, articles and more to communicate the value and differentiation of BlackBerry as a company, products, and services with an eye for innovation and creativity!

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong knowledge of product marketing, technical marketing, or systems engineering experience in a high-tech company
• Outstanding technical and product marketing writing skills combined with a high level of business acumen in MDR, Professional Security Services, Endpoint Protection Platforms, EDR, Cybersecurity, SaaS, Technology, AI, ML.
• Passionate about the managed security and endpoint space
• A collaborative colleague with a team-oriented attitude and effective problem-solving capabilities who thrives in a fast-paced ever evolving environment where priorities shift.
• A self-starter who possesses intellectual curiosity, humility, accountability that prides themselves on building strong internal and external relationships.
• Hands-on experience with technology (ability to install, configure and use) such as: virtualization, endpoint security solutions, multiple operating systems, networking etc.
• Ability to engage professionally with subject-matter experts across the organization, including top-level executives and to build strong working relationships (internally & externally)
• Performance minded. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects with little to no supervision.
• Potential 25% future travel required.
