Product Marketing Manager
Job Description
As a key member of the Marketing team, you will lead our product marketing strategy, evolving the awareness and growth, internally and externally, of ClassWallet products across our Education and Government Verticals.
You will execute on the product marketing content strategy in collaboration with vertical marketing managers with creative development of assets for use across ClassWallet touchpoints to bring our story to life.
The day-to-day responsibilities include briefing marketing managers and content curation roles (including copywriter(s), designers, and event manager); driving communications across teams; aligning with creative development schedules, presentations, and approval processes; and creating a smooth workflow for the cross-functional teams involved (including agencies and contractors).
Key Qualifications
- You have 7+ years experience in product marketing management, creative producer, or project manager, preferably at a creatively driven ad agency or in-house marketing communications department.
- You are passionate about branding and brand standards while fostering an impactful creative process among your team including employees, agencies and contract/freelance contributors.
- You have the confidence and credibility to 'pushback' on strategies to inform best choices; however, you will rely on vertical market managers and marketing managers to set the content agenda.
- You will be a go-to resource for the very best ways to execute on a content agenda and thought leadership topics.
- You are enthusiastic, inquisitive, and team oriented, with the ability and vision to define the day-to-day aspects of your primary role while keeping focus on its larger goals.
- You have shown the ability to actively build rapport, credibility, and influence and to make things happen throughout a high growth organization.
- You have expertise in managing the creative development process across a variety of communication vehicles, including design, video, events, and PR.
- You will support, understand, and enhance the creative development process across multiple media and functional teams.
- You can balance working in a fast-paced, creatively driven organization with an analytical and focused approach to marketing.
- You are interested in the Business, Government, and Education categories.
Description
As a key member of the Marketing team, you will execute on the content strategy in collaboration with vertical marketing managers with creation and creative development of assets for use across ClassWallet touchpoints to bring our story to life. This content may include video, photography, demo content, third-party content, partner content, illustrations, screens, hardware, animations, and trade show presence.
Lead efforts/initiatives from inception to completion, including the creative content strategy and integration across functions.
Act as the brand team authority on product accuracy across vertical markets.
Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Customer-facing teams to strategically align our content to product features and communication strategies.
Work closely with the Marketing team to create a high-level creative content plan across an initiative. Communicate the content strategy and directional changes to Sales and customer-facing teams and partners.
Work closely with external teams (contractors and agencies) to define how to best represent ClassWallet's work
Participate in creative reviews to ensure the content strategy and the content story is carried across marketing materials.
Establish processes and documentation to track legal clearances, usages, and placements of key assets across all marketing touchpoints.
Keeps all teams apprised of any newly published assets or changes to the brand that may impact content.
Provide general support of questions arising during content production and final hand-off.
