Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for positioning the StreamSets Platform and ensuring customers and the broader market understand its unique value. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to deliver content and programs that help customers understand the use cases, key differentiators and benefits of the product, and guide them along the buyer's journey. Your role will involve understanding of key personas and use cases through direct customer engagement, industry education and leveraging the expertise of the entire company.
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager you will own multiple focus areas and also be involved in larger initiatives and campaigns as a trusted partner. Knowledge and experience navigating enterprise marketing programs and product led initiatives in a high growth startup culture will be key.
Location: USA (remote)
- Research, understand and document the concerns of the data engineer, data leader, and data architect through customer and user interviews and secondary market research.
- Work closely with the field to map out the buyerβs journey, and identify and close content gaps along the buyer's journey.
- Create compelling, high quality technical content including white papers, executive briefs, videos, blog posts, web pages, product demos, webinars and podcasts
- Manage our customer advocacy programs to deliver a steady cadence of customer testimonials and case studies.
- Develop competitive intelligence materials by leveraging internal teams and market research, and synthesizing into sales enablement materials.
Requirements
- Broad understanding of data ecosystems like Spark, Apache Kafka, Snowflake, and Kubernetes along with the three major cloud vendors.
- A willingness and excitement to work cross functionally with an experienced marketing organization.
- An appetite for knowledge on cloud industry trends, players and the competition.
- A prolific producer of high quality content for a technical audience, comfortable in multiple form factors including white papers, blog posts and videos
- Self-motivated and energized by working in a dynamic startup culture.
- 3+ years of experience in Product Marketing with relevant cloud and data systems experience.
- Published and referenceable technical marketing content across multiple form factors
- Experience developing and executing a content and program plan.
- Analytical skills to parse product, customer, competitive intelligence, and market data to identify opportunities.
- Understanding of the major cloud ecosystems.
