Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, directing and executing the go-to-market campaigns for Workrise products and offerings.  This position brings strategic projects to fruition through leading collaboration with internal teams. The Product Marketing Manager works closely with the product, sales, operations and marketing teams to define customer stories and go-to-market strategies for key initiatives.  This position understands complex products and ability to translate them into digestible content for current and future customers.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Create the strategy for positioning and messaging the product/offer to our customer base, including, but not limited to, how that differs by customer segment
  • Own the plans and campaigns for each product initiative and key feature launch to drive adoption
  • Serves as the key partner for new product launches to ensure they are met with the the goal for the product
  • Educate existing customers to ultimately drive retention & revenue
  • Lead cross functional strategic projects promoting Workrise’s product offerings
  • Provide customer response and analytics of product marketing campaigns to leadership to assist with the continuing evolution of our products and services
  • Develop and evolve the strategy to ensure the sales teams have the resources and training to sell Workrise’s products and services
  • Collaborate with the Sales teams to understand where training needs to be created or improved
  • Create resources and materials to support the sales team close sales
  • Produce clear promotional resources for Workrise products
  • Develop and deliver training resources on Workrise products for the sales team to leverage
  • Build a robust understanding of our customer base
  • Create advisory boards and other insights programs that help the organization understand our customers and the perception of our offerings in the market
  • Stays abreast of current and emerging industry trends and best practices in the marketplace
  • Makes recommendations to management regarding programs, processes, etc to make increase Workrise’s competitiveness in the marketplace
  • Serve as a resource or mentor to others on the team
  • Lead projects that help increase the team’s effectiveness
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of product marketing expertise
  • Deep understanding of product marketing best practices
  • Ability to track  product marketing impact over time
  • Strong writing & content development skills
  • Demonstrated experience conceptualizing, planning, and executing bold and effective omni-channel go-to-market strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Drive to continually find solutions to improve efficiency across teams and with the customer
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment to change direction and reprioritize quickly
  • Courageous, discerning, curious and agile - believes there are always better ways to get things done
