Overview

SecurityMetrics, a leader in cybersecurity and compliance, is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for their marketing team. This role is crucial to SecurityMetrics' overall product and marketing strategy and will work closely with the marketing, product management, and sales teams. This role has a career path to Director of Product Marketing with a team of product marketers working under them. Primary responsibilities include go-to-market activities, creating and managing product content, and implementing marketing campaigns and programs.

Job responsibilities
  • Create positioning and messaging for current and new SecurityMetrics products
  • Create, execute, and report on annual plan
  • Design and manage marketing campaigns using marketing automation
  • Coordinate with sales and content teams to create web content, product data sheets, brochures, videos, and other sales support materials
  • Work with product management to create and execute product launch plans
  • Coordinate with product management on product strategies
  • Create and execute A/B testing in email and web copy
  • Gather testimonials and create case studies
  • Drive product demand through events, advertising, social, and other channels
  • Perform competitive and market analysis for each of SecurityMetrics products and targets
  • Coordinate product reviews with various media outlets
  • Work closely with multiple sales teams to train on defined targets, messaging, and campaign execution
  • Work with customers and sales to review, adjust, and improve campaigns and marketing collateral


Job requirements
  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, English or related field
  • Minimum two years B2B product marketing experience required
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong business writing skills
  • Experience managing prospect/customer data in a CRM, configuring marketing automation, and authoring in a website CMS
  • Must be deadline driven
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to work well with team and other departments
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
