Job Description
SVT Robotics enables companies to integrate and deploy industrial robotics without the need for custom code. That’s a game changer in the world of robotics! It means we’ve cracked the code for our clients to rapidly deploy automation technology, transform their businesses, and adapt to an ever-changing market. Our one-of-a-kind SOFTBOT® Platform and talented team of builders makes it possible.Â
Headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, SVT scours the country for best-in-class talent to add to our team of innovators, software experts, and robotics industry leaders committed to serving companies across the U.S. and Europe. Our employees show up every day ready to innovate and create with one goal in mind: success for our customers.
As demand for our platform continues to increase, so does SVT’s demand for high performers to help chart the course towards rapid growth and expansion. If you’re ready to revolutionize the future of industrial robotics and possess an entrepreneurial spirit and zeal for achieving results, we’d like to hear from you!Â
We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join our team and align stakeholders (product, marketing, sales, and success) across the organization to drive business growth, product usage, and customer delight. In this role, you’ll use your expertise in the B2B or SaaS space to be the expert on our decision makers and influencers - who they are, why and how they buy, and their key decision criteria. You will be a part of a product-focused marketing team; our brand, messaging, and content is centered around the product. You’ll be joining a dynamic team of experienced, data-driven marketers in the tech space. We are collaborators who work towards common objectives and also drive initiatives independently.
A potential day in the life of SVT’s Product Marketing Manager:
- Independently drive product marketing initiatives
- Plan the launch of new product features and manage the cross-functional implementation of the launch plan
- Understand and document our customers’ journeys, including where they obtain information, and the who, what, when, and why behind the decisions they make. Then drive the evolution to our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn
- Develop content and collateral to support our sales team, including informing them on the problems we solve for our customers, developing internal tools and external collateral, and teaching them how and when to use it
- Own delivery of business metrics defined by marketing and company OKRs
Required skills/qualifications:
- 3+ years of product marketing experience in a SaaS or B2B organization
- A highly organized approach with experience leading multiple stakeholders through product launches
- An entrepreneurial and creative mindset with the flexibility to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and wear multiple hats
- Experience representing products at trade shows and events
- Experience with developing useful, strong sales enablement content (hands-on) to support sales efforts, partner sales, and multiple target personas (Presentations (ppt, etc), 1-pagers, Technical sales sheets, Video scripting/storyboarding, etc)
- Analytical and research-focused, comfortable using marketing automation tools (Hubspot, etc) to drive content and messaging strategies
- Empathetic, with the ability to connect with customers on multiple levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with startups, including demonstrated growth in a SaaS B2B product organization
- Experience planning live product demonstration events including tradeshows, webinars, etc
- Some experience with copywriting that focuses on the value and benefits our product can bring to the daily activities of customers
- Industry experience in industrial robotics, supply chain, or material handling
About us
- Competitive salary and compensation structure
- 401k with generous company match
- Health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision
- Unlimited, flexible PTO and generous holiday schedule
- Flexible parental leave
- Fun, innovative team and remote-friendly culture
Are you with us?
We’re ready to meet you if you wake up every day eager to get your hands dirty in a high-growth start-up atmosphere.
