Product Marketing Manager (Austin)

You are an experienced product marketer who writes exceptionally well, has fluency with marketing terms and industry best practices, and goes the extra mile to understand what they're marketing. This means:
- You truly immerse yourself in the field in which you market. You're constantly reading news and blogs to keep abreast of timely industry information.
- You use the software you market, using all the available resources (people, docs, Google) to truly understand the basics of how it works.
- You pride yourself in turning technical information into digestible, thought-provoking content.
- You know how to leave feedback in a way that is constructive without being offensive. You make a point to explain the why behind your edits.
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and working in a start-up environment, where not every process is well-defined.
- You work with a high degree of autonomy, while still being open to lend a hand to your coworkers.
- You know your own bandwidth and when to say no to new projects.
- You're a fluent English speaker with an impeccable understanding of English grammar.
Our team is still early in our journey in defining product messaging and commercial buyer personas, so the next member of our team will be critical in shaping how the department works and grows. 3+ years of B2B marketing experience is required; relevant industry experience is a plus.
You would be expected to:
- Help define and execute on go-to-market strategies and internal organizational coordination for feature launches.
- Develop messaging for a wide range of industries, including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Retail & CPG and much more.
- Develop compelling collateral, including differentiating value prop, white papers, solution brochures/ data sheets, blogs, webinars and more to demonstrate thought leadership
- Monitor and analyze market, competitors, and emerging technology trends to provide timely insights to product, sales, and marketing teams.
- Work with our events team to project manage and develop content for webinars and live events.
- Help better leverage the open-source community as brand ambassadors.
- Create Sales Enablement materials to align on messaging across the buyer journey.
- Collaborate with demand generation on campaign strategy and execution.
- Work closely with Product and Customer Care teams to understand why users love our product and how it compares with others in the industry
