This role is for someone who enjoys working at different “altitudes.” On one hand, they are strategic thinkers and masters of messaging/positioning while on the other hand have the ability to understand the details and the differentiating aspects of Workato’s Embedded Platform product and synthesize those differentiators into talking points, slides, and other sales and demand generation collateral. They love working with Product, Demand Gen, Sales Leaders, Account Executives, Sales Operations, CSMs, and SDRs, to come up with collaterals, campaigns, and other materials for the entire marketing and sales funnel.
Work hand-in-hand with the product team on messaging/positioning and launching new features/products to the market.
Work with Demand Generation and Sales teams to develop content for sales plays.
Develop content to drive pipeline and revenue by working cross-functionally with Demand Generation, Sales, and Customer Success. This would include items like:
Content for outbound sales/SDR campaigns, including emails, 1-pagers, first meeting decks, videos, customer-facing decks.
Sales tools like competitive battlecards, ROI spreadsheets, and in-depth customer case studies.
Synthesizing competitive data into battle cards including laying competitive traps, anticipating and overcoming objections.
Work with the Account Management team to build content and programs to drive adoption.
Develop content and speakers at industry events and Workato’s corporate events (like Automate and Customer Office Hours) to evangelize the Embed Platform and drive thought leadership in the market.
3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably for a platform product.
Proven ability to synthesize content and communicate it clearly to the market and internal teams like Demand Generation, Sales Enablement, and Sales teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Track record of working cross-functionally with Product, Demand Gen, and Sales teams to launch products and GTM campaigns.
Experience executing marketing campaigns.
Passion and ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
