The Team
At-Bay’s Marketing team is helping grow At-Bay’s business, sharing our vision with the world, building our brand, and communicating the value of our insurance and security products to the market. You’ll be surrounded by a team that loves what they do - marrying the art and science of marketing to deliver value for our customers and the company.
Role overview
At-Bay is looking for a Product Marketing Manager with experience in B2B product marketing and sales enablement to help drive growth for the company. Your focus will be to enable our brokers to understand and adopt our self-serve channels for quoting and binding insurance products.
In this role, you will work very closely with product management and underwriting teams on broker education, activation, onboarding, and ongoing training. This role will help At-Bay be more responsive to critical partners, while also allowing At-Bay to scale more rapidly. Success in this role will include driving adoption and retention metrics of our Broker Platform, ensuring brokers are onboarded successfully, and enabling underwriting teams with compelling content highlighting our self-service channels.
How you’ll make an impact
By 3 months:
- You’ll understand our business and have created relationships with key cross-functional partners
- You will have identified and addressed immediate needs in field enablement, and created a roadmap for longer-term needs as well
- You’ll have gained a deep understanding of the broker journey and have identified a few key areas for immediate improvement
- You’ll have worked with underwriting to present the benefits of our self-service offering to brokers
By 6 months:
- You’ll have developed an activation and enablement strategy for our self-service offering
- You will have gathered market feedback to refine personas and to influence product and marketing roadmaps
- You will be an additional SME for our self-service solutions, will know how our solution compares to competitors’, and will be able to translate new technical details into impactful marketing
- You’ll have identified gaps in our go-to-market motion, and will have proposed focus areas for improvement
What you’ve already accomplished
- 2+ years of experience, with at least 1-2 years of product marketing experience
- 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing, in the SaaS, Insurance, or Fintech space
- You have demonstrated experience in driving field enablement, customer education and adoption initiatives that lead to improved sales outcomes
- You've delivered multiple field enablement sessions that ultimately improved experience and drive revenue
- The revenue and product teams you work with rave about the collateral you've created, and love working with you to improve go-to-market motions
- You’ve developed and shared customer or user insights and created strong partnerships with internal product and technology stakeholders
- You have excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, customers and other third parties.
- You are comfortable in ambiguity, with a willingness to be scrappy in developing a solution in a fast-paced startup environment
- You have strong presentation, writing, public speaking, and project management skills
