The Product Marketing Manager will work with product managers cross-functionally to provide competitive intelligence, market analytics, technical support and voice of customer of residential HVAC equipment and associated accessories and controls.

Responsibilities include:
  • Collects and analyzes macro economics, industry and target market information to forecast market size.
  • Conducts competitive product and service analysis, and market research of product consumer behavior and professional audience to develop product requirements and specifications.
  • Coordinates or participates in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services.
  • Identifies, develops, and implements near-term and mid-term business strategies relating to the development of new products, technologies, services, follow-on products, and/or industries to ensure profitability and positioning in the market.
  • Initiates and prioritizes projects, tracks product/service development and develops product/service launch plans to effectively manage a product or service category's life cycle and ensure profitability.
  • Drive cross functional market research and voice of customer activities to support product roadmap development and new product requirements.
  • Work closely with product managers, regional sales managers, product engineers, factory teams and other internal departments to develop product marketing tools for distributors, dealers and/or end users to help increase sales, revenue, and margins and assist with product transitions.
  • Work with product managers and product engineering to assist in developing pre-sale technical materials that aid in the selection, application, and sales of residential products.
  • Support product managers with product launch tasks and creation of marketing materials; specifically ensuring alignment across platforms with launch and phase in phase out of Puron Advanced products phase-in/out for projects with significant scope and complexity.
  • Maintains and/or identifies solutions and tools including competitive comparisons, feature/benefit value, product gap analysis, platform performance, and sales tools creation in support of product launches.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the residential HVAC industry, the company's products, and sales channels.
  • Responsible for product launch tools and phase-in/out for projects with significant scope and complexity.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to document and improve product marketing processes.


Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing or product management


Preferred Qualification:
  • Masters degree
  • Background or experience in HVAC engineering, industrial engineering, market analytics, marketing &/or product management preferred
  • Experience with coding such as Python
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerBI skills
  • Clear understanding of basic marketing principles
  • Understanding of residential HVAC applications and market dynamics preferred
  • Ability to work in self-directed manner across multiple departments to identify needs of the organization and/or customer, articulate necessary proposals and see projects through to completion
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities
  • Demonstrates self-initiative, sense of ownership, quality, and customer satisfaction orientation
  • Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset
  • Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks, and implement progressive, sustainable solutions
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources and synthesis in both graphic and verbal format, so that it is easily understood by the target audience. Tell the story.
  • Strong ability to work in diverse, cross functional project teams to achieve high levels of performance in a dynamic, changing environment
  • Fluent skills with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PowerBI preferred
