Product Marketing Specialist
ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT
The Product Marketing Specialist will execute product marketing activities with the goal of acquiring new members and deepening relationships with existing members. The role will be key in leveraging digital marketing tools to develop and execute comprehensive direct marketing activities that drive product volumes for assigned lines of business across the markets we serve.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Product Marketing
- Partner with assigned business units to understand goals and create a quarterly calendar to execute campaigns that support their production goals.
- Collaborate with business units to launch complete campaigns from development, execution, and through to post-campaign reporting
- In partnership with Marketing Insights and Analytics Manager, develop target audiences and campaign tracking metrics
- Work with internal and external partners to develop campaign creative briefs
- Ensure all campaign creative follows the compliance approval process
- Partner with digital agencies to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategy for assigned lines of business
- Support new product and service launches as needed
- Partner with the digital and marketing teams to update assigned product marketing content on the public website. Ensuring product pages are accurate and optimized.
Digital Content
- Manage product content pages on the website for assigned lines of business (working with business units to ensure content is accurate)
- Collaborate with Product Marketing Manager to update promotions for assigned lines of business on the website
- Manage content calendar for marketing banner ads within online and mobile banking
- Partner with Regional Marketing Manager to manage content calendar for external and interior digital branch signage
- Work with Product Marketing Manager to update frontline communications relating to campaigns for assigned lines of business
Financial Wellness Marketing
- Partner with the VyStar at Work Manager to develop and execute marketing initiatives that deepen relationships within financial wellness partner organizations
- Leverage financial wellness content to drive and support product marketing efforts
- Work with the digital team to develop and maintain financial wellness content on the website
- Manage financial wellness vendor and distribute new content as it becomes available
Marketing Automation
- Serve as a user of marketing automation platform
- Serve as user of MCIF system
- Use marketing automation tools to personalize communications to members and prospects
- Collaborate with Email Marketing Manager to coordinate email communications for assigned lines of business (including pulling lists and establishing tracking)
Marketing team support
- Serve on internal project teams, support functional areas within the marketing department, and assist lines of business with new initiatives as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree is required (or equivalent combination of education and significant relevant experience).
EXPERIENCE
4+ years marketing or financial services experience inclusive of 2+ years working with financial products required.
2+ years product marketing or sales experience preferred
Email and digital marketing experience preferred
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in presentations in a business setting
- Experience with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platform is preferred
- Advanced computer skills and an above average knowledge of the latest Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Professional suite
- Results oriented with strong strategic, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong team orientation and ability to work with people from all business areas and levels.
- Ability to work with varying levels of internal constituents and develop communication for various internal levels.
